Beans/lentils/dry peas/quinoa are good staples to store. You can put bags of rice in the freezer for two weeks to kill the rice weevil eggs in them. That way after you take them out of the freezer the little baby rice weevil eggs will never hatch. If you have a dehydrator like I do you can buy basil, rosemary, ginger etc., dry them, then put them in "Ball" canning jars. I take organic orange and lemon peels, dehydrate them, then use a clean coffee bean grinder to grind them to powder. I take 1/2tsp of that powder in a glass of water twice a day for the best Vitamin-C I EVER! 😃
