Eschatological studies have always been the last refuge of the scoundrel. A Bible in one hand and a scale in the other; sizing up your earthly savings, without even a jaundiced eye toward your heavenly account of God’s saving graces. Yes, many will throw their pearls to the swine, without even a thought of how much their soul’s precious weight might be. Jesus said, “Render to Cesare that which is Cesare’s but render to God that which is God’s!” Don’t lose sight of the finish line!

Well when you have an exponentially growing homeless problem, like the student loan crises, it will become political.

Then people who have homes will find themselves in a predicament as they will be gradually forced out of theirs. Just like the non -federal student debt borrowers must be liable for the forgiven or cancelled out federal student loans.

Rents are high now and will go higher until a simple act of Congress or CDC declares that charging rent to the verified homeless is simply illegal. Failure to aid the homeless will result in immediate jail time and property confiscation.

All real estate will be occupied by the homeless.

Own nothing and you will be happy, resistance is futile.

Maybe an executive order would be better to use to make it illegal to charge rent to the homeless as it would have to be overturned through the courts and that could be put off for some time.

Greg, I don't think they will be able to turn it around this time. The whole world is on fire. Again patients is key.

What you are describing is a massive wave of homelessness that will include men, women, children. Entire families living on the streets. Lawlessness. Rampant accelerated use of drugs and alcohol. Spread of diseases. Social services overwhelmed. Many times worse than the homeless problem in the big cities and state of California. Only the beginning.
