As we all know the US GDP numbers are supported by government spending. When they borrow a trillion here , a trillion there it is counted as GDP. Crazy but true.

Now it's between 4.50 and 4.99. I recall 1 oz gold coins going for 1,600, I believe in the late 90's? Now it's reaching for 2,700.
I can't draw a number on how far currency has been devalued based on that alone. It would be nice to see the details on how you arrived at a current valuation of 1%. It may dissuade the questions of those whose focus remains on its comparative value.
