Mexico agreed to secure the border from their side and cooperate with the USA, that is all he was looking for. At this moment.
Now, all Canada has to do is agree to do the same.
What I did learn from all of this is Canada already has insane tariffs on American goods:
270% for Milk
245% for Cheese
25% for cars
45% for Aluminum
48% for copper
And on and on.
Seems like we are getting ass raped by Canada when it comes to tariffs.
It will be interesting to see what happens next. We are obviously being tariffed into the ground by Canada already. Thank god we only export 1.2% of our GDP to Canada where they import 22% GDP to us.

That is true but the problem is building all the industry back.
It takes a lot of investment and now the business cycle is in a topped out position so that is a risky investment.
The other problem is all the engineers and labor force that knows how to do the job are retired or died off.
It would take at least a generation to get back to where we should be.

OUR economy can't handle a tariff from either Country. It will affect so many items.
Looking around my home, I dont see anything that says "made in Canada".
