I totally agree. There is alot of money out there in the middle class. Maybe it is all debt based credit card debt. But, as you mentioned, these venues are full. I grew up poor and going to these places was a dream. So just how poor are Americans. Debt riddled....yes. But, so long as these venues are packed and the Central Banks keep the market afloat, we MUST stay in equities to offset massive inflation that is our future.

Good point. I've always thought the top 1 percent is, in reality, the top 10 percent. I know too many married couples who are making a combined $200,000 a year and living in Mcmansions. Wish it were me. But I do believe many of the remaing 80 percent are buying season tickets and whatever on pure credit, just paying the monthly minimum. They are the same people who bitch about student loan debt because they refused to send their kid or attend Community College to save money. Then they bitch about their debt. I know people like this. Sadly, the merry go round will stop some day. And these people will be crushed. But they brought it on themselves by pure greed and ignorance. I feel sorry for the truly poor people who are working two jobs and getting by with the are minimum. I grew with that and I have tremendous empathy for their plight.
Actually I am happily retired and am quite content with my modest life. A few extra bucks never hurt anyone. But that's why I follow Greg and play the market. You are correct. The grass actually looks greener but there is usually a price to be paid. I paid mine and am trying to enjoy whatever life is left to me. After a certain age, one starts worrying about the well being of those that are left behind who have relied on you. Or as my mother used to say at every funeral, "The dead have no worries, the living must bear the burdens of life."
