Lions, markets are maybe going to go up higher on the hopes of all this LIVE A LIE STIMULUS, and I hope they go up like a ROCKET so I can sell my CALLS that I'm holding, But to be on the safe side you better have you a few PUTS if the markets go down before they take a hike up!!! In the morning I make $$$$ if the markets go UP from CALLS, and I make $$$$ if the markets go DOWN from PUTS!!! I hope you are a smart trader and it seems like nobody ever suggest buying a PUT on here??? Well I truly care about you even if nobody else does!!! BE A SMART LION AND EAT GOOD EVERYDAY EVEN IF THE MARKET GOES UP, OR GOES DOWN!!!

A little of both but I don't play them against each other, meaning I plan ahead and sell which ever one makes money first and hold the other and wait for it to pay off too, and some I ride up to a high point and sell call and buy a put and ride down, and this only works on stocks that you know and watch repeatedly do this all the time, and if you track stocks on your watch list you can pick these calls and puts successfully most of the time. Make $$$ when markets go u, and make$$$when markets go down!!! Why would you only trade one side of the market all the time???
the other tricky thing is the after hours trading. that's when all the manipulation seems to happen of the pumping and then dumping just before market opens. do you know of a broker that allows after hrs trading with options?
Yeah, looks like about 3M shares of GLD were sold to take the GLD down. If this recovers quickly, it seems to say they can't take it down. Already on the way back up. The shorts may be screwed!
this has been the case ever since gold was $1300 or so. All they can do is slow down the inevitable; it's a bull market. And their attempts to take down the price are becoming less and less effective. I use these dumps as opportunities to add either to my physical or miners or both. I am in for the long term, as you are right it is tough to trade short term.
The reason for coffee is a) FEDs money/inflation and b) coffeeseason/al chart. In theory first Gold and Silver rise up than commodities will follow. That's not a recommendation. Just what I think.
Usually swing trades (holding for multiple days/weeks) with options though Greg sometimes makes a intraday trade if something moves quickly in a span of day.

I just watched that, and GLD and SLV both just set new highs and fell back some, but they should both tear higher over the next few days!!!

when i see that big dump and then pump within minutes of each other, I have no hope that I can compete with this level of manipulation.

when coffee falls the next 1 or 2 weeks, i buy for a rallye until the end of the year.
