Seems like the ratio was higher under Trump than Obama and took off the last year of his presidency. Yeah COVID 19 blah blah blah. Wasn’t that part of the plan? The new fiscal crisis started in 2019. Instead of calling it such, it’s covered up by a “pandemic” and will continue until they have achieved their goal. Greg says it’s for the fed to own it all, elimination of the middle class, etc. whatever it is I don’t like where we’re going.

But you have to add the EuroDollar debt to this as a negative number which is way more than USA debt. EuroDollar debt means say China issues USD denominated bonds. Europeans do it daily for fun like bushing your teeth. They know USA is dead so it's free money for them. You can talk to shoe shine boys in Europe and he will tell you in great detail why USD is dead. So issue USD bonds, buy property and then sleep soundly. Wake up and you are multi trillionaire

The days when having a debt-to-GDP ratio below 100% was the exception are over. It is now the norm. The world debt has recently exceeded $300T!
