I had a problem with them going to my 'promotions' folder at first. I set up a filter in my gmail to mark them as 'important'. Has been real nice, and am alerted to them quickly!
check your spf and dkm sometimes it can help and also if you use a private domain, not Gmail or hotmail with a personal name as the id, not info@domain.com You can also use a double opt system where people confirm they want to receive your newsletter when they sign up. I know how it feels the same thing happened to us last year when stupid people signs to newsletter than mark as spam..
Ah that would explain it. I've also heard if a lot of people receive an e-mail, but do not open it, some e-mail providers will start to assume it is spam also.

I used to receive newsletters, just stopped all of of a sudden. I have to always Google your name to get them
