Charts are pointing to 47-48K top on Bitcoin soon, then a 35-50% correction thereafter. This is a very weak bull cycle where ultimately tops after the crash will be 75-79K only IMHO

Nice analysis. Lets see how it plays out.

I am calling for a correction of 30-50% in BTC price within 9 weeks time. It may not make it quite to 48K The crash could happen anytime between now and first week Feb.. likely sooner than later. Great buying opportunity. Crash could be this month, in which case unlikely we make it to 48K But the recovery will be fast and it will be an epic time to buy.

I would not trust any charting with manipulated, zero value item like bitcoin. You saw what happened to gold today.

In the mean time check out Hyatt and restaurant stock DRI. Americans flushed with cash spend on vacations and eating out. Don't shoot the messenger. Watch the stocks

Firstly, restaurants are the last thing to go down.. even working class try to hold on to eating out.. those on EBT are using cards to dine out. It is all they have right now.. and people will charge a meal just to get out of the house. You have to eat.. right? I track intermediate and macro cycles... so there is not a lot of guesswork. I don't bother myself with day to day. Large cycles are very predictable.

> You have to eat.. right?

I never eat out. Will not pay for overpriced shit food and $10 tip. No way. Even when I travel I go to some organic food store and buy fruits/vegetables and make my own salad at Airbnb

But populace is loaded with unlimited cash. No one and I mean no one I look around has any problem paying $100 for meals for 2 at a restaurant and I am being conservative. Some pay $200 $300 for 2

Well, most lower and middle class Americans go out as a social activity. Many cant afford a home now, arent getting married or having children. So they socialize. It is all they can really afford to do to make themselves feel better.. a two hour escape. New cars and homes are out of reach at 7-8% interest rates.. so they eat!!!

Also apparently many don't know how to cook, don't realize the huge $ difference between fast food/eating out vs homemade meals and/or working schedules where it's what they have to do.

May be but I have not seen it. Wealth is so enormous that even tomatoes are not grown by Americans! Think about that for a second. Yesterday saw tomatoes imported from Europe ! Such is the prosperity.

People are buying hot air like crypto which is a classic case of pyramid scheme that solely depends upon more sheeple piling in with no inherent value at all. Creating a new coin is an hour's job. Here Wall Street Journal created a coin

https://www.wsj.com/articles/wsjcoin-yes-we-created-our-own-cryptocurrency-1538559113

This is the MOST UNPRECEDENTED prosperity in American history where people pay 40000 for on piece of hot air

But yes.. the generations born before 1965 made out exceptionally well.. simply buy "shelter" which you already need and throw a bit into your 401K or broad market index and they averages $115 back on each dollar invested in a house or index fund. Imagine that return.. how we would need DOW 3.7M with no hyperinflation for the current generation to get that exact return on each dollar over 42 years. WITHOUT hyperinflation.. its crazy. Good to be old in America.. hard to be younger

I believe most now in crypto are people that have been in it for awhile. Many in this space like it because it is an ASYMMETRICAL asset class. And they believe USD is going to be victim to sovereign debt crisis and perhaps currency crash. Also, for me, I like the portability of it. I can cross any border in the world and no one would know what you have or do not have.. mobility. Dollars arent part of the new system the Fed is trying to bring in. They won't even be called "dollars" which means dollars will have no value- will they even transfer into new system? Will there be a 1 to 50 exchange rate? Turn in 50 "dollars" to get one Unicoin from Fed? Which means instant confiscation of net worth.

This is UNBELIEVABLE. I never seen anything like this honestly. A classic case of pyramid scheme. Every sheep is buying because they believe they can sell it to another sheep for higher price. Tulip still had some value

Everyone is talking about whether a recession or depression will happen here in the United States...they are looking in the wrong place.

The pandemic lockdowns in China, lasting longer than any other country, had fueled labor strikes in manufacturing, factory workers walking off the job at Apple just in the past year. Now China is admitting that their economy is in worse condition than a recession. With the wave of the pandemic to labor strikes, and now a possible depression, this will only tighten the supply chain. Who is going to create the goods, who is going to transport the goods?! The Federal Reserve has no choice but to pause rates for the foreseable future in order to achieve a soft landing, but the world economy is about to experience a new round of supply shocks, that will possibly force the Federal Reserve to raise rates as real inflation persists. Raising rates or even pausing them will cause liquidity to dry up even more as bond yields rise and become even more inverted. The reverse repo collapsing says that liquidity will no longer be supported, and this is going to crash the markets.

If you follow the data, it holds true that we are at the "moment of maximum saturation"...in a world where inflation is driven by supply shocks due to too much money printing. Yes, inflation is going to get far worse...but the Central Banks have already sold the lie that raising rates fights inflation. Raising rates will cause a world wide banking crisis. You can stay long the market, i'm selling every rip as long as they keep it propped up in this fantasy land. The bull market cycle ends when inflation becomes out of control.

To Greg and followers, I recommend checking out a very good Youtube channel called "CYPRX SUPERIOR TRADING" which presents a lot of research findings pointing to the XRP, XLM, HBAR and XDC coins likely being very fruitful investments long term. I myself have Bitcoin holdings and am using this opportunity of the Bitcoin value rising to swap a little BTC for some of these coins mentioned above, seeing how this is a good time to get more bang for your Bitcoin in such a swap.

Nice call on BTC. I honestly thought it had made its last stand and was headed down from 15k, but I was obviously very wrong. I still think its gonna end up going to zero, but have no predictions on when, so I just steer clear of it.

Either way, smart strategy on your part.

Thanks for sharing your strategy Greg, I do not have money to lose in the crypto space and also feel the same way about tokenization and crypto as you do investing into defense equities.

I hold nothing against those who are able to make money on crypto just as anyone who is able to weaponize the system against itself investing in the MIC.

More power to anyone who is coming out ahead these days and pulling profit/paying yourself seems to be an important part of the strategy.
