I don't think a pay wall is going to change anything. I normally don't comment & if you really think on it, A comment is not going to change anyone's worldview either way.

Today, a scammer would definitely pay a few bucks to look legit... and then scam the crap out of a person, still.
There’s already scammers inside the Substack……a scammer communicated in Today’s discussion/thread. Also there is at least one scammer using GMs name & photo (there are 3 listed inside Substack).
i also know that substack is compromised and watching people's comments to see where they stand on issues...often times my comments are not posted because i am heavily shadowbanned/censored. its a jooish run social media platform JUST LIKE ALL THE OTHERS, NO ONE IS SAFE, ANYWHERE, were all being tracked. i guess just turn off comments for a while.

Maybe do nothing but us commenters can shame the scammers as they pop up so others know they are indeed scammers and they aren't you. It's too damn bad. There's scammers literally on every social media app. They get into everything
I think we can police the comments as a community. Are you able to appoint a moderator with the ability to delete comments?
Do what you feel is right. however, scams are running amuck everywhere. People have to learn not to answer calls from those we don’t know or have in our contacts. Don’t open or answer emails from those unknown. If you decide to move, make the decision based on the decision YouTube sucks and they keep messing with you. But to move because of scammers, they will never go away.
That is exactly how I feel too. You can't control the scammers but you can control what YOU yourself do. I have been saying all along that Greg (and others too) should avoid YouTube because it is just evil. Why would anyone want to continue to fight against a platform that clearly censors and tries to control people? He says that he wants to leave Babylon. Well, I can't think of a more Babylonian like place than YouTube. He can do all of the same stuff on Substack, and his followers will follow him there. I am not saying that Substack is perfect, but it is a heck of a lot better than YouTube. I mean, if you want to play on Satan's playground, this is the kind of thing you can expect to get.
Take the comments down and we can talk on the substack. I mean i love your news letters for the important stuff that is my opinion I love when you come on live.
I choose not to have a YouTube account so although I am still able to see the videos (through the Substack link), I am unable to comment on there. I communicate 100% on Substack.
I do not think any of this requires any action on your part. People are responsible for themselves and you have sent us enough warnings to know better. I feel sorry for the people who were affected however this is no different then people calling me from "my bank" all the time. It's a cruel world, and you are not responsible for it.

Yes, I had a GM scammer on Substack with the correct profile who sent me a very “chummy” message. No where is safe.

I'd keep everything AS IS and put a cut and paste disclaimer at the beginning or end of every post

I agree. In addition, a paywall will Block out info to ppl with LOW resources.

Everyone on here needs to REPORT these LOSERS, when they SEE them. (then BLOCK them)

When you see them, click on their name, it will take you to their Substack page.
You will clearly see that it's NOT Greg, because there are no posts.
When on the page, you'll see three 'dots' after 'Message'; click on the 'three dots'......it's a pull-down menu; you'll see the 'REPORT' and 'BLOCK'.
