So now we wait for the Brics gold standard to start in about another week. Who knows what global mayhem might result?

Should I feel bad for rooting for the dollar to collapse?

I get it.

Yes I would personally gain from the dollar falling but so would most people around the world. I feel bad for Americans suffering but it’s kind of our fault for letting this system go on for so long

Real question to help me understand... the MMRI seems like a real time monitor, not a predicter, so where is the real value? I feel it's like it's like looking out the window and saying what the weather is at that moment, but no way to know if it's going to rain tomorrow. The MMRI has been in the "High" range (calling for rain) for many many months, and the market still goes up and up. I feel like if it ever hits "extreme" over 300, it'll be too late to act. Personally, I've hedge with metals, and other non-market investments for the last 15 years, but I do that in good and bad times anyway. If Greg or anyone can explain the benefits of the MMRI, I'd appreciate it! I feel like I'm missing out on the full power of it.

Yes. The MMRI measures risk in real time. It is NOT a predictor. The value is understanding risk IN REAL TIME.

And the dow is up again, day after day after day after week after month after year after year after year. None of what this guy says ever ever freaking ever happens. Been hearing this for 45 years. We will all be dead and gone before any of this ever happens if it ever does, in the mean time people apparently rolling in money buying everything in sight while we wait for everything to collapse... insanity.

You seem to be way out of touch. I have been saying for YEARS that the gap between the market and economy will get larger. I am not calling for a market crash. The economy on the other hand is cratering. Eventually a debt market meltdown will cause stocks to fall hard.

Understand but the question is when? When is this ever going to happen? I don't disagree but, in the meantime, everything just rolls along like normal.

When is impossible to say. I personally believe that when will be a time of their own choosing.

It does happen... 1987, 2008, and more. Each time I think "OK this is the big one, I've never seen anything like this", but then it always seems to come back.
