I like what Keith@Hedgeye says about the VIX: 9-17 is Captain Stockpicker's market, basically everyone's a genius in this VIX range. VIX 18-29 is the "choppy waters", traders rule the day here. Finally VIX 30 & above is the "Fuck Bucket", aka this VIX realm is for the pros who're comfortable w/extreme volatility.
Greg...I know you are surgical when it comes to knowing what is really going on in this market. But now that you are looking more at the MMRI, than the 10 year, to let you know when it's time to get out of equities, what would now, along with the MMRI, be something that screamed at you to get out of equities....post haste!?
